Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Guesslet ("the Service"), operated by Jameson Daines, a sole proprietor doing business as Guesslet ("we", "us", "our") based in Utah, USA. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Guesslet is a social entertainment app for private groups (max 50 members) to make and resolve predictions ("guesses") using in-app coins ("Coins"). Coins have no cash value, are not transferable across groups, and cannot be purchased, sold, or withdrawn.
2. Not a gambling service
Guesslet is a play-money social game. There is no real-money wagering, no cash prizes, no payment of stakes or winnings in any currency or item of value. Coins exist only within the app's economy and have no use or value outside it. Guesslet is not a sportsbook, casino, or gambling operator under federal or state law.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Guesslet. Users under 18 should have parental permission. We may enforce a higher minimum age in jurisdictions that require it.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for safeguarding your account. You agree to use Guesslet only for lawful purposes and not to harass, defraud, or impersonate other users.
5. Content
You retain ownership of content you create (guess titles, descriptions, group names, etc.) and grant us a license to display and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating it. You agree not to post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or that promotes real-money gambling.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Use is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to USD $50 or the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months (whichever is greater). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA. Disputes will be resolved in Utah state or federal courts, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
